AC Performance creator Allen worked for 4 years at a local well established and renowned engine reconditioning company where he learnt his trade in race and performance cylinder heads, gas flowing and cylinder head reconditioning.
After leaving this local company to pursue a broader engineering career, Allen continued to build and tune a wide range of engines over the next 10 years for his friends and for his own hobby of short circuit racing and motocross. Allen experienced a wide range of engineering practices before developing his skills in the design sector of engineering where he designed and developed a wide range of special purpose conveyor and screening machines used in the recycling industry.
Allen has received a wide range of accreditations in design ranging from various City and Guilds in AutoCad to an Associate and Professional certification in Autodesk Inventor.
Today, Allen seeks to build on his passion for building performance engines and developing and modifying cylinder heads. Combined with his creativity in design, Allen offers a design consultancy service to help people and companies achieve their ever tighter research, development and design schedules.
AC Performance aims to develop and offer a range of tools and accessories to help the professional and make the home engine builder’s life easier.
